We have been invited to join the Episcopal student community at San Diego State to take part in a weekend service learning and volunteer opportunity in Tijuana.

The trip is through Transformational World Opportunities, a company that organizes immersion education trips into Mexico in order to better understand the interdependent global community, and explore ways to walk humbly with God. Trips are designed as opportunities to listen and learn from people of another place and culture.

WHEN: The weekend before spring quarter starts, March 27th to March 29th
COST: $50-60, scholarships are available.

Dorcas House Day Trip!

We will meet at the Center for Ethics and Spirituality on UCSD campus in the morning. Everyone is welcome, you don't have to be a college student and you don't have to have gone on a trip like this before. Invite ALL your friends to this amazing opportunity to spread God's love - and just have a fun day!!

Make sure you have your passport - you can't go without it! The cost of transportation will be covered, so the only cost to you will be lunch (about $5 if you want tacos and churros at the border).

We travel to Dorcas House at least once every quarter. There we visit and play with the children and learn more about our border region. In the past we have gone to concerts, movies, the zoo, and parks with the kids. You can see pictures of many of our trips here.

Dorcas House participates in the mission of God to save, love, and educate children with parents incarcerated in Mexico. Dorcas House is a ministry of St. Paul’s Cathedral.
